I just read a story about Rossi and his new Yamaha ride. They mentioned a pneumatic valve engine. What's up with that?
You are so very close but yet so far.

As racing engine RPMs go higher the valve springs can't keep up and the valves can't close fast enough. Pretty old technology in car racing. [url:2p69vzoa]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pneumatic_valve_gear[/url:2p69vzoa]
try and keep up,
try and keep up,
that said, do you think the mx industry will simply skip over the pneumatic tech and go straight to electro or desmo springs as you have mentioned?
it seems f1 tech always trickles down to motogp, and then it eventually finds its way to mx. it seems that if theyve already found a better way, dirbikes may never see this tech.
Go 2-smoke. Much simpler.
I am, that's why I'm reading motodrive.
