ps3 open?

I think it would be fun...I just don't really know how it works.

the problem is there isn't audio with the ps3 nor is there a "lobby" like there is with xbox. it could work if we had a timed practice type event. then set up a,b,c mains (or how many needed) then we would have to set up a priviate session and invite the a riders to one, b riders to another and so on. there would just have to be a few people keeping scores in each race (a, b and c races) then report to the 1 person to keep score of it all.

it would be neat to have a timed session. put the fastest 8 in the a main, next 8 in the b main and so on. use the same scoring that checkerz set up (1-30 scored and 50 points on down) and do an every rider for himselft championship. have a SX series and an outdoor series. then have a combo of SX, MX and EX.

I'm in too.

I heard that "they" are making a patch so that we can have audio/messaging while playing. I don't know how reliable my source is though...

it would be awsome to have audio AND fix the tuf block issue. those are the only issues i have with the game, it makes it very hard to come from behind.

The last couple nights I've been mixing it up with some very fast guys. One of the guys (mxmikemx) was in another league altogether. Another guy (hilly517) could really fly also. The other guys I can run with and beat them at times. One night, I can't hang. The next night, they can't hang. It's pretty fun!





The last time I was at the Sandbox, I saw a very nice Honda 4 stroke (wtf did I just say) plastered with Storm Lake honda graphics. #32 if I remember right. It was a sharp looking ride for sure.

I played for a few hours last night. I stopped at about 9:30 or so and started watching Transformers until I fell asleep. Did you manage to race anyone fast?

You know how to get a hold of me when you feel the need to get beaten like a dog. Speaking of that, how many races did you win the other night? Here's a hint: If I held up one finger, that'd be too many!

Clay525, clay516, hemi4545 (yeah, it makes no sense to me either), and duddy915 are the ones I've been racing with a lot lately. Oh, and that huck218 guy. Dude jumps the whole track! F'ing cheater!

We should do a MD tourney before involving the other guys, but that's because I want to win.

i can invite my parts guy aberson_racing3...that way nobody will get last! haha seriously, if he beats you, you better sell the game!

Take that one finger and stick it up your...well, you know. I wasn't feeling it the other night and NOTHING was working. I was pretty distracted...yeah, I know, excuses excuses.


I may try and be on tonight. I am getting my tattoo, so it depends on how sore my arm is. I raced a couple of guys that were VERY fast!!! In one race (SX) they both finished within 1.5 seconds of each other and 37 seconds in front of me!!! In a 3 lap race!!!! I didn't have my best race...but damn!!!! That was at 11:19, I quit at 11:20.

Earlier I actually had a race that I keep stopping and waiting up for the other guy. It was fun, I felt like T-bag!!

I tried jumping the whole track once...it didn't work too well.

Have you noticed that every time I stop and wait for you that I get screwed and end up losing?

ya thats a great idea...how are you gong to keep track of all the heats? and then make sure everyone gets in that room? the only way that i see it working is we have to do a ranked event, set it to private and just start inviting people (that have already preentered) then once the 5 lap timed practice is over you take the top 8 fastest lap times out of all the races and then the second 8 and so on and so on. the winner from the A main will have to keep track of who placed where and the fastest lap time, the winner of the B main will have to do the same. then you keep track of points from 1-however many guys there are. so the winner of the B main actually finished in 9th place.

we have to have an entry list before the season even starts and stay with that list all season long. nobody gets in until the next season starts. i think to make it work we have to only race 1 event a week so the time zone's don't screw it up.

As far as I know, you cannot have private ranked rooms.


Oh, and please tell me this will be for the National tracks. The Supercross tracks suck. Actually, it's the haybales that suck. And slow guys that hold me up. They suck too.

One piece of advice I have is have your entries online and post your heats online. After the heats, the designated host shall post the results up online, where the promoter can break the mains down and designate a host to create a private game and invite everyone in.

This would work easier than on 360 too since hte web browswer is built into the PoS3.

Hey guys whats up. I play on the PS3 version aswell. I've raced with some of you. T-Fish and I have had a couple races.

I just hosted the first PS3 Untamed Tournament last week actually. Everything went well but I do have some words of advice to whoever is planning this.

Make the Heats and Main Events on different days or times. I had it that Heats would be on Saturday and the Mains on Sunday so I could organize the A and B Mains. Maybe if you did the heats then had a one hour or 30 minute break to put everyone in the right Main Event that could work too. Thanks to Rainbow we don't have jack crap for communication which makes planning a tournament or series that much tougher. I'm down to entering this one if you guys get it going though.

You're pretty fast, but I'm tellin' ya...those tuff blocks are hard to avoid. I got so pissed off I turned my PS3 right off mid-race.
