Hey Bobbym, who's the fast guy behind you on the Honda. Sandhill was so fun. That big ole' start or downhill so so good! Is Tom still running that place? Remember the Grewer Bros. I know I was behind you!
I raced there one time at a CMC race in 1976. I had to place to get money to get home (LA) I won the 125 pro class by about one foot. I think I got $35.00, just enough for gas money to get home.

You were better off. That was one of my least fav bikes. The first RM's were terrible. They should have been called flexi-flyers. I broke the frame, swing arm, and bent the forks different times while racing it.
Trickster, no I'm not a Grewer, Dan Geery, that picture of Bobbym is me, behind him on the Honda. Sandhill rocked. Rode 125's all thru the70's and 80's. Remember Lenny Macerella, Mike Amaral, so many more?

Wow, Mike Amaral. I haven't thought about that guy in a while. We were room mates before he joined the Military. Never heard anything from him after that. Lenny had a Hodaka 100 I think, but what did he ride in the 125 class?
I don't really remember what he rode in the125's. Sad story about him. Still have the Len Macherella memorial trophy from his race. Billy Roush, Ron Self, Keith Mullins, his Pop, if I remember ran the races at Sunnyvale. Did you race any of the Altamont races, talk about a track that was all straights, connected by 90 degree corners? We had some fun tracks, to many to pick from to race each weekend. If you remember Mike Marquez from Santa Cruz, he works for Fox Shox, in Watsonville. Alot of the old school racers from Nor-Cal work there. It was like going back in time when I go there.

Yes I am Christopher Grewer. I would like to see some pics. Moto Cross old school
Dig the cool different styles there, the "layback" and the ever aggressive forward approach.
