They recieved factory suspension parts but all the other parts motor, triple clamps, frame, etc were bulit in house.
That is right. They even said so in an interview last year.

Actually they do. It was a first for a non-factory team. It was part of their agreement with Yamaha. Apparently it really pissed off Kawasaki. They went to KYB to get it quashed, but KYB stuck to their guns and allowed the deal to go through.

At least, that's what I was told.

Under the new rules if a said team acquires a small unobtanium part from the factory they are no longer considered a privateer team in my understanding.

Last year and before it was paycheck....if the rider received any paid compensation from the factory (not counting contingency)

I can admit when I'm wrong, but when someone voices there opinion on something they should not be flammed for it. I guess you had to admit you were wrong when you went on for about 3 pages saying DMG would never just hand over the keys to someone else just like they did to the NPG right? Oh, I dunno....might have missed a couple things with going to races all over, going to the SX in Zurich, Switzerland, having people in town from Perth, Australia and Dubai, UAE, setting up a few new international accounts and my Uncle, the man who introduced me to the sport, spending the last few weeks dying and finally passing away the day after Christmas, I have been a little busy to keep up with any rules changes, and now getting ready to leave Wednesday for a SX in Dortmund, Germany....but yeah, dude, you are far more tuned in than I
