Strighten handlebar?

I have some old steel bars that are a little bent, is it safe to strighten them or will they crack easy?
Should i use heat or cold bend?

There used to be a leverage bar specifically for that. Google it of just put them in a press. I have a stack of old bars I refuse to throw away...future retirement project.

If it's oem, its Chrome -moly, right?
Then it should be cold bent, if i remember right..
Maby put them in a wise and use a tube that goes over the bar end?
