Airbox Rivets, How the heck to install?

So I crushed my airbox and bought a new one, Im trying to figure out how to install the cover or vinyl flap that attaches at the top of the airbox. It's attached with what yamaha refers to as rivets but for the life of me cant figure out how they install, anyone have any insight? Thanks! Zach

Need to drill out those 3 existing rivets and rivet flap to box as shown using washers on each side of rivet.

Lol yes, you can't install rivets without a rivet gun.
