i bought a galfer ss brake line. the tag with "master cylinder" was on it. installed accordingly. too much slack at front wheel, hitting tire.stiffener didnt line up with fork guard clamp. pondering and stepping back for a sec. while holding a picture of steve matthes summoning his wrenching powers. it looked upside down, ass over kettle. flipped it fit great.filled, bled etc. works good for just a pavement quick test. so my ? is on your line is the long heat shrink on top? i sent galfer some pics he said the original way was correct, they may have built it wrong. he added the stiffener may fall out and go into the brake?! i think they just tagged it wrong.

I've had issues with Galfer lines not fitting as well as stock also. Little adjusting of the stiffer and rubber boot helped, but seemed like the banjos weren't oriented or clocked correctly on the line, and it had a twist that didn't relax well.

Yeah mine needed clocked also. Holding the line and stick a pencil or dowel in to twist.soft,no damage. I'm thinking the long section would go up top because it slides in the number plate guide. Bottom if fixed of course.I'm going to run it until they send out the new one. They told me to destroy this one.
