Worst track design I've seen in a long time. There was literally one line on that track

I was just going to post this. I thought the same thing. It was a great race, indeed, but I would have liked to see more flow and line choices for Martin to work early in the race. But then maybe the race would not have been as exciting as it was. Martin would have jumped out front and disappeared. Possibly with Hill on his heels.

Stewart was holding up Martin, Davalos and Hill. Once those three got by Stewart, they pulled away.

I posted it in the practice thread, the race thread, knew it without seeing it. The way riders stayed in position for qualifying and times pointing toward a dry, blown out ,one dominate line track.

Shame ,Daytona has the area and soil to very easily be gr eat, you'd have to work really hard to screw that up, guess someone worked overtime.

You'd expect better utilization out of the Daytona infield. That was pathetic.

Should have given the outside line in those "S" sections some decent banks to scream around and made sure the track was wide enough so that the inside rut and outside bank lines don't come back into each other.

They def need to rethink for next year.

They need to just dump dirt on some of the paved track to give them more room. Shouldn't be a problem. They know how to clean it all up.

There is no room to make the track bigger. LMAO. Time to move the Daytona round to a different facility.

It is time to bring Travis Pastrana or Mike Larocco to the drawing board because RC4 his tracks never deliver good racing. Monster Cup? NOPE! Daytona? NOPE!

what was with thos stupid switchbacks? Literally only 1 way to go through them. Wasted a ton of track space with those

There were way too many walls and they should have added something like a long set of sand rollers like millville
