Anyone have an extra set of raptor pegs for one of these that they may want to sell? Or know of a place that sells them at a reasonable price?

Here's the info for the thick frame grip. I just order a few set yesterday. More expensive than Nihilo at $25, but they are saying should last 5-15hours. Maybe can order them from P3 Carbon as well?

Great job on the frame Joe.
You can order the P3 frame guards directly from them. I have a set of the orange/black weave ones on the way.

Nihilo has blue frame grip tape.

Digger, did you do much testing with the airforks vs CV's?

I wear through the Nihilo grip tape in like 2 rides. These are made by a local company and they're called Grip Guard. They're 3-4 times thicker than the Nihilo ones. BTO is using them this season. He had guys around here getting 10hrs out of them so I thought I'd give them a try. I didn't try my AER's (I sent them to Powerband when I got the bike) but tried a set in the fall and they were pretty good and far better than the dreaded 4CS fork BUT they're definitely not cone valves :-)

He's a fairly new graphics guy that does some nice shit :-) The Grip Guards are probably 5 times thicker than the Nihilo ones. His website will be up any day now and when it is I'll post a link to it.

Has everyone received ther ship dates? What determines what dealer gets theirs first? Just curious as I'm waiting and my dealer AOMC has no idea when he will get them.

I sure am happy I got mine early this year because that is the worse wait especially when racing starts and you still are waiting

We usually get a notice of ship date but either I missed it or we didn't get one. Bikes showed up today so that means they are shipping.

Not sure if they are sold, but watched my dealer forklift two of the 450 FE's off the truck yesterday.

Grrr. Anybody in VA or WVA received theirs yet? This is the first time I've had parts waiting on a bike, not to mention the two KX450s in my garage I now longer own.

Last week my dealer said they have not received a ship date but that they could show up next week. Anyone in the Midwest receive any info on theirs?

Are the levers the same as last year or previous few years? Im looking to get a set of ARC memlons and was curious on compatibility. Again this is my first go around with KTM and don't know what fits where yet.

Awesome. Congrats! Still waiting on a ship date on mine. I've ordered the new cone valves but they are on back order as well. Im having shitty luck with my move from green to orange.

Congrats! It really is an awesome bike. I have 5h on mine now after 4 riding sessions this week!

3/4/2016 1:27pm
SWEET!!!!!! Still waiting on a call from my dealer. Was that hour meter already on there when you picked it up?

Motofinne,
What are your thoughts on the forks after 5 hours? Also, MXA keeps saying the shock is too stiff for anyone under 190#. What do you think?

And i have to say that the WP AER 48 is the real deal. Great stock fork! No problems with riding in - celsius degrees after we changed a o-ring and the vaseline on the picture.

There was never this much anxiety waiting for new KTM's 10 years ago. They've come a long way. Can anyone give us a comparison to last years on the track if they are lucky enough to have had both.

An since i have to ride on snow/ice in Finland at the moment the forks really gets pushed to the limits in the turns. Anyone that haven't ridden on snow/ice should know that the ruts gets incredibly choppy and of course hard as ice.

But riding with spiked tires and on snow/ice is so much different than riding on dirt in the summer so it's a bit difficult to compare.
