2010 crf250r. excessive oil from vent tube..help!!

Today I was at the track. After first moto I came off track and noticed wetspots all over the side of rear rim on shifter side of bike.. Looked underneath and saw that my rear suspension Iinkage was covered in oil as well.. I'm assuming it's coming from my rocker\cam vent line. I had cover off last weekend to check valve lash wich was in spec cam looked great no wear......Why is there so much oil coming out????. Didnt crash never laid bike down. My compression seems good bike ran fine rest of day besides all the oil from vent. Checked oil level it was good... No I did not over fill oil. Unless when I did oil and filter change for some reason all oil didn't drain...I'm stumped..please help any advice would be much appreciated...

Rut roh.... could be pressure in the timing chain track from the crank, or pressure up top from a valve issue (same cavity)..... either way pressure up top is no bueno.

I just put megabomb fmf header on it was first ride could that have anything to do with it

If you just did valve work, I would look there first

What if crank breather tube was clogged with dirt would i t cause more to blow out rocker vent due to pressure? I know I'm grasping for straws..

What about bad piston rings I do have 20+ hours on it but it has great compression runs fine

I had a 450 get hot, warp the cylinder and send compression below the rings, which caused oil to come out of my crank breather.... some as your question about rings.... but totally different than your issue.
