Clutch master cylinder says to use mineral oil but nobody in town has any dirt bike specific fluid. Will mineral oil from the pharmacy work? Label says mineral oil lubricant laxative

Many people use it, I never liked the food grade mineral oil, especially when cold. Others include atf, light weight fork/shock oil...

Unless they have changed since I had a ktm back in 02, you could use the stuff Magura use in their MTB brakes, think they called it Magura Blood. Just DONT use normal brake fluid, seals don't last 5 minutes.

Also used mineral based suspension fluid in the past.

I've seen many people use ATF in them also.

didnt KTM switch to brembo units that use DOT5?

A friend of mine put mineral oil in his 2014 350sxf clutch and it ended up swelling up all the seals and ruining them.

I know they used to use Magura/mineral oil but I think that changed

Mineral oil straight from the drug store. KTM means what they say on the cover. Don't over think this just because you are on Vital.

I would hope the OP can read mineral oil on the cover versus DOT 5 Brake fluid... I think he can since he axed for mineral oil. The 2 strokes kept, at least the small bore kept the Magura until at least 13... my last Kato.

Will work just fine. Even tho the viscosity can vary a lot with cold and heat. A can of ATF has been my way to go for all of my KTM's. 0 slave or master failures to this day.
