Dude had a phenomenal race considering his start and how stacked this field is. I think he was like 15th on the first lap and worked his way up to a top 5 in this field. Super impressed.

Yea he kept a bad night from getting worse. Nothing wrong with a 5th, especially with the depth of the field this year, no one is gonna be running away with multiple race wins in a row.

His mindset has to be " championship over wins. " it has to be. he's been expected to be a champion since he got on the big bike here in the u.s. We'll see how he does after 17. He's in shape, mature and seasoned now. if he can eliminate the little crashes and misshaps he will do as he's expected.

Great ride considering - in control, smooth, no panic. I really would like to see him win it this year.

He went down in the 2nd corner and was dead last (according to his IG) and was right behind Tomac at the finish. He was MOVING!
