So as long as he's a nice guy , he can ask what questions he wants , with impunity, whereas i am out of order for calling him out on it .

Im sure he may well be a nice guy , and from i've seen since, on Twitter , he realises he crossed a line.

It was a spur of the moment reaction to something i considered to be pre planned and bang out of order

As far as im concerned , out of respect to MM , its over , if he apologised , fair enough, but it was shame that his own sense didnt stop him before he opened his mouth.

Myself and Kris talked about it afterwards and I do understand why Kris asked it. It was a legitimate question about the mentality and it raised the question to the public what he's been through this off-season. Also, Kris asked a few of the guys that around Marvin to see how he is taking about the situation and thought it wasn't going to over-the-line.

I've asked Marvin about this off-season and I would have never guessed that there would have been that reaction during the press conference. Although, I wouldn't have asked about it during the press conference. But then again, I never ask questions during one, I keep mine for afterwards.

I think it was more suited to a one on one interview and give marvin the chance to refuse in a heads up if he wasn't comfortable. It would be a much less public environment.

Well that was shocking. Sat here with my GF watching it I was embarrassed. Shit questions, shit answers.
Neither the press nor the riders are cut out for the level of professionalism they are trying to create here. I'll never watch a SX press conference again!

Totally agree, it was actually sad to see the level of the Q&A. Not going anywhere further.
