I own quite a few car washes and some mobile ones, too. with that being said, we just got a new account for our mobile unit, which brings me to my story.


our account is a major mutual fund, that is very diversified, needless to say.


as you all know, we're coming off some bad weather and the guys were very slow this morning, so I asked a few of the big shots if I could offer them a free detail so they could see our work. they said "they couldn't accept that from us". I was like why? they said "per the SEC we can't accept gifts" I responded back with: it's OK for some guy to embezzle 50 billion and the SEC doesn't catch it, but you can't accept a car wash?


I mean, that goes to show you how fucking retarded and ass backwards we are. we will step over a dollar to pick up two penny's, I swear.

I looked into car washes, and even the laundry biz, too expensive to get RID of water. new stores of course not the existing ones. You must be making some bank to afford it in Califas. good on ya.

I bet they pay slow as fuck too. I have a truck wash and have a few accounts with some global companys with multiple trucks. One of them tries all the time to talk me into net 60. I think net 30 is more than enough. I used to have to bill them 1.5 every other month because the won't pay on net 30. Now they wash often enough that the 1.5 pretty much pertains to an invoice every month. You would think after the 10th time they would save a dime and pay on time.

that sucks, brotha. our business is different at this place, we get paid from the workers, in this instance.

now we do get paid every 30 days from aston martin and a few other fleets, but 60 days is a nightmare to float and we won't do it.
