Which straps do you use to secure? I have the normal old but I just saw this video for these Tactical Tie Down straps that work kinda like chinese finger straps and was wondering if you guys have any experience with this type of system? Video of the straps in use here

I don't know if they're the best, but I use the Matrix fatty tie downs. I've had the same set for the last three years and they work perfectly every time..

If you spend about $25 for any of the well known brands for a pair you'll be fine. The main thing is that they don't slip.

I've been using the Pro Taper tie downs with the swivel carabineer base hook. I like this feature in particular, because if anything tied down happens to shift in transit, the carabineer wont fall off. That's a biggy in my opinion. I just keep my tie downs inside out of the weather....and have yet to have one slip on me.

I also like the swivel feature - you don't have to turn/un-twist them.

+1 on these.

They were a trophy at a race last year and they are pretty awesome. Built in soft tie and it has a latch so you don't have to worry about it popping out of the tie down bar in your truck bed.

I have both the matrix concepts tie downs fattys and standard love them both! Fattys are really nice because they are wider really like how they both use a swivel and locking clip candiliver to hook to your truck or trailer. Nice tie downs!
