The Defense Secretary has mandated that this will happen. The ban on women will be lifted at the beginning of 2016.Some articles on Google

If they can't make it onto the Pro Bowlers Tour, they join the Army.

Are they talking about real women or just the trans one's? hard to know these days.

Hey if they can do it with out special treatment and given the same standard as the guys, then be my guest.

Of course it's a stupid idea, but that's never really stopped them from being implemented.

If they want to be truly equal, then be truly equal. When the bodies come home they will have second thoughts

I agree with you (well, not the first line, i'm just gonna leave that one alone). Yeah, if they can do it, then have at it. But don't just let them do it in order to please some sort of gender equality issue. I don't feel like it's sexist to tell a woman who's just not strong enough, etc. "you're not strong enough."

The problem is our government keeps using the military for its political social experiments. Last I checked we were to be used to defend our country and interests. Not to be a testing ground for social ideas so the lambs can get elected again.

lol women are the worst recruits for the infantry. Theres some stats out there that say that to make 10 male infantry, it takes 11 recruits. With women, it takes something like 20 recruits to make 2 female infantry, and then once they become "infantry," they are significantly handicapped for what type of jobs they can do (they cant carry as much, etc) and end up being a liability for the squad.

Yup. Have you also noticed that it's never the people who have to do the actual fighting who push for this stuff? It's either politicians or female vets who've been out for a few years. I've never met an active duty chick who has said "gee, I wish I could serve on a SEAL Team."

The military should not be viewed as an equal opportunity employer. The only question to ask is "does it make the military better or worse?" If the answer is a clear better, then implement it, if not , don't.

It's ok. Im anxious for them to allow non pilots to have their turn to fly those bitchin jets they have.
Should draw straws to see who gets to fly drones with a payload.
