Does anyone remember a Dave Dudas rider that was back in the 1970's. He supposedly raced in the first LA Supercross and the circuit with DeCoster. I work with him and do not remember that name.

Don't you know that anybody that ever rode a dirt bike:

1. had a factory sponsorship
2. Raced with DeCoster/Hannah/Bailey/Ward
3. Had a promising career but was wiped out by a devastating injury.

It's so funny when you start talking dirt bikes with a stranger and it's obvious they are spinning yarns. The longer ago they raced, the more of a hotshot they were.

Isn't he going to be featured on MX Files this weekend?

I figured he was full of bs but I just listened and tried not to puke. Yes, he is featured on MX files as the fastest bench racer of all time....and hear I thought I was the fastest.

Ryan Dudek's father Don worked with the Yamaha factory and raced dirt track at Ascot back in the late 60's.

How many on here have heard of the infamous Downtown Dan the Dirt Bike Man? Someone close to Payton should ask him about Dan and then duck! He may have blocked the whole twisted thing out of his mind by now though. This all happened in the mid '90s.

His name is Dave Dudas. Different dude. Thanks everyone....I should have known better to ask the question and not expect to get flamed.

I will consider the dude a fast bench racer full of bs.

Don, is still at Yamaha, R & D, from what I hear. Ryan, is at Cycle World.
