According to a someone attending tonight's Nitro Circus event in Salt Lake City, Travis Pastrana and crew just made an announcement that they're going to start a "Nitro World Games". The only info given at the event is that this competition will change the face of action sports and the first stop will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah. Sounds like we'll get an official announcement with the actual details of the event very soon.
Considering the downfall of X Games, I'm stoked to hear Travis and company are planning their own competition for action sports. Heck, Travis was practically the face of X Games during its hay-day.

X Games is dead.
No, that can't be... none of them could win unless back flips are involved...

Anything Travis is involved with is amazing, and I imagine this will be the next freestyle bar he raises.
