Rock Band vs Guitar Hero World Tour

Ok so I've read a bunch of reviews and still don't know which way I want to go. I have all the Gutar Hero games and really like them. Don't have any Rock Band game as of yet. I play drums and have heard bad things about both games in respect to the drums.
I did play Rock Band drums at the Motley Crue concert last summmer with some 14 year old kids who needed a drummer. After playing the song three times in practice I had it down. Looks like the GHWT drums have a better feel. Songs look better on Rock Band . Anyone have any input?

I have rock band 1 and just got ps3 with rock band 2.. My buddies have new GH with drums.. he thinks rock band has better songs.. i dont know i dont play enough to know which is better..

I've got the first Rock band and Guitar hero and like them both!

I'll be getting the second version soon. I'll let ya know how they play.

Got the Guitar Hero World Tour for the PS2. Already have the other Guitar Hero games for PS2. It's bad ass. As a former drummer I am having a blast playing. Songs are ok, I know Rockband lets you download new songs so you don't have to wait for a new game to be released. So when I get the X Box fixed I will get Rockband 2 for it, and just keep going with the Guitar Hero for the PS2.

if gh world tour is the one with the symbols (i think it is) dont buy it the symbols do not work well and break!! rockband all the way, have it and love it. the instruments r not as fragile but i dont beat them anyway. Rockband also is cooler so yeaSmile

The instruments can be used for both games, BTW.
Buy the instruments once, then whatever game you want, then get the other one later down the road. No need to change the instruments.

Personally, I like Rockband better, but Guitar Hero is fun too.

Just bought Rockband 2 for Xbox, paid 32 bucks, brand new...Bought Rockband 1 for 25 bucks, brand new. Virgin store in the mall going out of business!!! Don't have any guitars for it or the mic, hell the Xbox is still in Texas getting fixed. Heard the mic will work on either PS or Xbox, but nothing else crosses platforms. They do make a pretty cool real style electric drum set for it, saw it on ebay. At this rate my bike will never get fixed.
