I have a YZ250 with a r304.
how often should i replace the packing?
it has about 50 hours through it and it's getting louder.

About every 15 hrs is realistic. Maybe more often if you run castor oil.

My yosh rs4 says to repack every moto, so I dunno.

save yourself some money if you have any insulation laying around.. like R-30.. Works every bit As good as the stuff you buy..
I repacked my 304 every 6 or 7 races or about 3 times a year..
