Hey guys,

A friend is offering me a used Bud Racing cylinder head for my YZ 250 at very decent price. Squish is for bottom and mid-range "powerband" Smile

My question is, does is worth the 100$ he is asking for ? Money is not the problem but a little voice is telling me that gas and tires would be the best of investment regarding my poor riding speed.

Thanks.

What other mods do you have on the bike? What's the head volume? Would it require race fuel?

You probably won't notice much difference with just the head mod. If anything, it will just make the bottom and mid a little bit smoother and might take some of the initial hit off the stock mid-range

Bike has PC pipe and silencer and rad valve. Carb is jetted accordingly. Race fuel costs really expensive here in Europe so we stick with octane 95 or 98 pump fuel.
