Nice work.

What will these get used for?

-Supermoto wheels with a small brake and no handguards mean it's not for SM racing?
-No road kit, so not road use.
-SM wheels mean it's not for MX.

About the only thing I'm left with is hillclimb.

Very impressive and bang on tarmac hillclimb racing, they are both road registered too on daytime licence so they can be ridden to events, over where i live you only need a number plate to ride it on the roads we have no MOT or anything like that so can use as a sunday spinner too , great fun loosing superbikes through lanes

Here she is in her old livery , in the pits for a hillclimb run

You in Jersey?

This was my DRZ back in 2001, and then my WR in 2004 (which used to have a daylight ticket, but after the MOT, the number boards would come off, and lights go on so I didn't get pulled up by plod all the time)

No i live in Guernsey, Jerseys sister island, its cool to see your bikes , its fine over here as long as your back before street lights go on the police dont mind , when i have been stopped its been 6 times for speeding as there is no way to go slow on a cr250 lol and the other 2 occasions was so the copper could see a mint resto motocrosser, all you need is a friend who can do engineer report and a receipt of sale to get that golden log book, once thats done the cr doubles it value, ive put 5 on the roads now and doubled or more my money every time, my next build id 94 splitfire procircuit kx250

That's pretty cool.

Here 9 times out of 10, the police are great, but you only need to get the wrong one, and you're in the shit.

Got 3 points and a rectification notice (new MOT req'd job) on a year old bike coming away from a track day for tyres 0.2mm below the limit.

Gave the SM stuff up following a big crash, and an inability to ride it like anything other than a dirtbike should be ridden.

I have a set of 17" astralites in the garage in 3.5 and 4.5 widths. I keep having bad thoughts about building a retro supermoto, as I really enjoyed building my CR

I'll watch your build with interest.

I'm struggling with the fact that all I'd need to do to make them fit a honda with a TC front end is knock up some spacers.

Even the sprocket and disc offsets are right!

Do it, why not its so much fun sourcing, designing and building them, i had a wake up call earlier in the year when one of my best mates only 35 died of a rare cancer, from that day my life did change i now train most days i mean for physical fitness, and i said to myself if a dream is affordable , fuck it get stuck in balls deep so i bought the bikes i need, the 93 to be my outright dream bike no expense spared and its shaping up to be that, not keen on the old green number board though may go black backgrou d so the colour picks up like the seat, the 94 kx for the split procircuit and the 94 cr i may do as factory stock or peak procircuit , but that kit is impossible to fi nd Mc only did a few races so i know there are die cut decals for my shape rad scoop not sure on seat cover though

Life's too short not to.

Finally rebuilt this at the start of the year and took it racing.
I've only had it 15 years!

I have 3 more projects hoarded, and waiting in line to be built, (and a mini)

Once they're out the way, who knows?

I do know it's always good to have a large stockpile of tasty parts though, just incase.

Nice , 91 ? I did a 91 as my first build back in 96 . I agree with stockpiling good parts here is my stock

This is also my donor kx 1994

Looks like you've got a few to build to get through all that lot!!!

Love a bit of 90's dayglo myself.

My CR's colour scheme for next year is very 1991!!

- and yes, it is a 91, just currently with '90 250 shrouds as the 90/91 factory hybrids looked so cool IMO.

Looks good that, looks like there's a lot of honda love in your household with all those CTR's too. Is that a Starlet GT/ Glanza V too?
11/28/2014 8:16am
Yeah the white jdm is my race car 270bhp naturally aspirated, the black one my road car and the glanza my brothers who at the time was a honda mechanic which is probably why he wsx at mine that day lol

270 from an N/A motor's none too shabby!

All those colour schemes are certainly bright.

I currently get crap for having fluoro pink grips and a fluoro pink/white bar pad.
Back in the day I had fluoro green grips on a set of purple renthals, with a multi-coloured paint-splattered bar pad. Now that was an assault on the eyes!

Hate to dredge an old thread, but can someone tell me whereeee I would ever find a set of neon yellow plastics like the one's the OP has for rear fender and number plates?
