In all seriousness....

I wonder, when Ryan tries to go out and get outside sponsorship, if getting an ESPY is a big selling point to say Target for instance?

I really hope he doesnt skip the MX Des Nations. It'd be a shame if he didnt go because some asshole fans get down on him for not winning.

I don't think asshole fans are the reason Dungey isn't going to the Des Nations. My understanding is that he just wants a little break between MX and SX. But I'm not denying there are asshole fans that blame the previous years losses on RD.

I can't believe his drive to continue on at the pace he has. I was slightly surprised to hear him say that he contemplated hanging it up awhile back. Glad he didn't.

When did he say he was contemplating hanging it up?

Does anyone know results are from the ESPY awards are from all the years? I've been trying to find them but can't find the year Carey Hart did the first backflip. The reason I ask is cause I remember Robert Disler winning the award over Hart's backflip for a whip and can't find the results.

I just heard this from a buddy of mine the other day also, from some interview that I never saw. He made it sound like it was maybe a season or two back. I didn't press the comment because I know this guy usually has good info and has an inside track on stuff. It took me by surprise.
