And ski doo has had several issues with the etecs along with being difficult to mod and run good. I have two of them trust me it's not the right direction. it will eliminate the casual rider there is so many minor things that make them not run right. Fuel Injection had made bike prices go up and less appealing to the average joe this is another huge step in that direction
Ski Doo's Difficult to mod? HAHAHA, No different than anything else.
How fast can you afford to go? How high can you afford to climb?
This is a 2015 800 ETEC Turbo.
Try again.

"Automatic Oil Injection System

The big news for the 2016 RR Enduro 2T models is the introduction of Beta’s electronic oil injection system on both the 250 and 300 RR models. This system was introduced in 2015 on the Xtrainer model and has proven to be a huge success among Beta owners. This new feature ensures a perfect fuel-oil mix under any conditions and engine speed while saving riders from having to pre-mix.

This new system also reduces 50% of the smoke from the exhaust compared to a traditional pre-mixed two stroke as the system is managed by an ECU with integrated mix and engine control which is able to measure the oil based on the engine’s revs and engine load measured by the TPS (Throttle Position System)."

Looks to me like the 2016 Beta 2-strokes are one step closer to a direct inject/fuel injection system. According to this the ECU manages the oil mixture along with a Throttle Position Sensor similar to an FI 4stroke, my guess is that pre-mix fuel is too thick to work through an injector so splitting the two would allow it to flow better. Whats your take on this?

That is False.
There was EFI Premix in the late 70's.
And if you use a bit of common sense, a diesel has injectors.

People really should do some research before posting bullshit.
