Sunday's rain race:

Green flag:



EBS power (plus extra pushing with the feet the first 100 yards):



Led the pack to the first turn (still pushing with 1 foot):



Robbie being sneaky and thinking he's going pass me on the front straight:



Not going to happen:



But after a lap and a half he got me. It was inevitable. He had a good lead on me the next time to the front straight:

Fade toward the end on the video of last month's race? YES!!! I almost pulled off half way through the race because I had no more energy to wrestle that beast around the track! Smile I have little doubt that with this bike, if I were in shape, I could win every race I enter. Smile I'm just too lazy to get on the treadmill and I like beer too much. Smile

Uploading this weekend's races now. The Saturday race is pretty boring because I got out front on the first lap and led the distance. Sunday's race has a little more action. I think we had 15 entries in my class on Saturday and 16 on Sunday.

How come no Kaw's in MotoGP? I hung out with a few of those road racing nuts a few times. John Ashmead &

Micheal Barnes... I was @ the 200 in 89 when Ashmead won. Friend of mine is cousins with him... Those guys used to

party hardcore...

kawi got out of it stating cost, and went back to supporting more production based racing, they are dominating world sbk this year, Rea and Sykes are looking a class above most places,

Kawi has never really had a long history of GP racing, except for the KR250/350's of the early 80's, they always seemed to concentrate on production based racing,

what do you do for a living..??

road racing looks fun but its def a country club sport, atleast looking from the outside..

are there any tracks in the US that resemble the british tracks such as Oulton park ..?

It seems like every american road racing track has lots of LONG straight aways..i watched some british superbike helmet cam footage and those tracks look alot differnt

Compared to motorcross it might be slightly more expensive but probably not as much more as you would think with all things considered. It's most definitely cheaper than car racing. There is a variety of tracks here in the US. I haven't personally been to a lot but my favorite to this point is the new track at the National Corvette Museum. I was in the first motorcycle race ever held there last October. We're going back this October for more.

Most of my buddies have been there on multiple occasions but I've never been. I had plans to go the beginning of this year for testing and then changed my mind and went to Hallett instead because I have never been there either but will be racing there in July. I also am teaching the race clinic there so I should probably have a bit of a grasp on the track first. Smile

I got a rain day last year and that was really good for my ridding, still off the pace but totally dig the track on street bikes. Some day I might even buy one.
