Warriors getting hosed on a lot of calls early. Cleveland is getting a bunch of iffy loose ball fouls that could go either way but every one is being called on GS.

Refs not calling fouls on GS is bullshit. First game will go to GS.

Game 1: Warriors. Smile

Cavs were awful in OT. Irving looked bad as he hobbled off to the locker room.

How about Curry's patented warm up shot from the hallway?

Dude is simply incredible, but he really wasnt that impressive tonight, and they still won. Wait until he is "on" Whistling

ESPN says Kyrie Irving has a fractured kneecap. He needs surgery and is out for the rest of the finals.

This has been one of the worst years for player injuries during the playoffs that I can remember.

What an ugly game. Cleveland got kind of lucky that every Warriors player but Klay Thompson had an awful night.

Warriors would have won in regulation but the refs made a terrible call taking away that basket that Shaun Livingston tipped in. Plus Speights missed a wide open dunk.

Im gonna go on a rant here.

Games like tonight are why I hate NBA basketball. First let's talk about all the traveling. They all do it, but especially LBJ. What's the point of having this distinct rule in the game that forces you to bounce the ball up and down when navigating the course if you're not going to strictly enforce it?

Star fouls. This is my absolute biggest gripe with the game. I even remember it somewhat existing at the high school level when I played. Its one thing that guys like LeBron or Steph get the calls anytime they're touched, but its another that coaches and the commentators treat it as an inherent part of the game. Van Gundy straight up said he's not used to seeing a great player like LeBron get the benefit of the doubt on a call. Why would he get the benefit of the doubt just because he's LeBron James? Tell that kind of shit to Dez Bryant, or more accurately, a guy like Tom Brady. Both got fucked by the long dick of the law this year, and weren't given the benefit of the doubt just because they were high profile players. That kind of mentality completely undermines the integrity of the game.

To top it all off, pro ball is nothing but a series of iso plays. How is it that the NBA consists of the best college players yet they refuse to run any kind of real offense. Last play of the game, dribble dribble dribble, step back fade away contested shot. That's stupid! Run a play and get somebody open, with a few different outlets. Utilize offensive technique to actually play the game. Maybe the athletes have just gotten too big and too fast for 92 foot court and a 10 foot rim. Maybe I'm too pure of a basketball fan. Idk.

Rant over.

Cleveland has a special deal with the NBA which allows them to travel without the refs ever calling it. Cool Mozgov had 3 or 4 travels last night that the refs missed and Lebron gets away with a lot also as well as palming/carrying the ball constantly.

https://youtu.be/X067KLE9Ies

The funny part is when the show replays and Van Gundy and the other broadcasters are laughing about the uncalled travels which must make the league proud. The play where Iguadola stripped Lebron and he was crying for a foul, when they showed the replay Van Gundy again points out that Lebron traveled before the non call foul occurred.

I also agree that the fundamentals of the game have eroded so badly over the years to all the isolation plays and drive and kick to a three point shooter. If a guy like Kevin Mchale were still around today he could ruin the league with all his low post moves and footwork. No one in the league has those skills anymore.

The joke of one and done players at the college level has contibuted to the decline of the pro game.

Curry 'had an awful night' because he had Dellavedova all over him like a cheap suit.

Curry set the tone by missing shots early in the game being defended by Shumpert while Delavadova was getting torched by Klay Thompson. Curry just had a terrible shooting night, it didn't matter who was defending Curry, he got plenty of looks he just did not make them and it did not make a difference who was covering him. Delavadova is getting way too much credit for defending 8 of Currys 23 shots.

The cooks are making chicken Curry in game 3.

Go Warriors!

Those were 8 that he missed. All 8. 0 for 8.

Dude there was a show on CNBC called "(Dis)Honesty" Awesome show! They even had an NBA ref, the one who got busted for giving tips on betting, and he said there is a CLEAR difference on how "star players" get fouls not called on them, and if i remember correctly, it came down from the higher ups in the league!!

I fully believe it man, that's why it bugs me so much that coaches and commentators just address it as a normal aspects of the game. Its not! I get that it's a star driven league, but they're artificially creating stars by going that route.

I'll watch that link buddy
