I believe the key word In all of this Is "underestimated". That's nobodies fault but RV's. He was use to always winning, and got caught off guard by the speed of the front runners. Those GP guy's are fast as hell.

This, pure and simple. The final posting, that is - I clicked the quote last post only box, but it seems to not have worked.

And, he would have had accessto anything / any setting He wanted. Anyone that thinks Kawasaki would not provide exactly what he required, is a fool / a rampant conspiracy theorist.

No doubt some here will take it as 'hating'. But it's absolutely not the case. Some of you 'fan bois' seem to be very delicate little flowers

It's a damned shame he's hurt himself, but, that's how it goes.

I liked the humor in his new nick name (according to Ratters) of 'Lenny'. I think RV himself would find it funny - he's always appeared to me to be a down to earth bloke, with a wry sense of humor.

If that twitter thing Is his (I'm not part of the twitteratii) he really does know how to deal with things.

I broke my tail bone many years ago, had to continue working and racing ( I make DH frames, and my racing and winning in my vets class, as well as having 2 top 10 riders in our nationals here was part of my 'work') for the year, and it was quite an ordeal doing so . I ended up having to have my tail bone removed, and still have big problems from it all, many years later. So, I understand his decision to sit it out ........ what a piss poor pun that is.

Hope he gets back soon. I'd hoped to see him at what I've come to call "Villo's Escargot' (really thought that track would quite suit him) which I'm jumping in a plane in a few days for - then 2 weeks working at the IOM, then off to Maggiora. I assume he won't be at Mag - but hell, there's a whole lot of other great racers / races to see.

Gajser has a big off in warm up, herlings stops immediately to lift bike off him. Red flag.

I know right, if the entries were cheaper, a larger contingent from the UK and Europe would've entered and Alessi wouldn't have even been in the top 30. I hope he turns it around today, else it'll be reminiscent of his last visit to Europe after returning to KTM and getting worked at a pre-season international .
