New way to record yourself riding

Edited Date/Time 5/14/2015 10:44pm
I wonder if this recording will catch on in the moto world. We've seen the same style of recording done through user-operated drones, it's cool that you can have the same effect all by yourself. Curious to see if it can keep up with a bike though. With a price tag of $519 I think it's only a matter of time before people start experimenting.

seems to be cool!

Maybe don't want to test it on a track!

What happens if 2 Lilys see each other and film each other instead of what they were filming?

Or like they hook up and go to a Lily pad and bang their mother boards like a boss.

I hope theres a "dog fight" mode, so only one Lily makes it out with footage.

Does it see obstacles? What about MTB riding, will it hit every tree in the woods? Smart idea though. Bet Barney Stinson has one. Wink

On a private track perhaps. Not sure how it would handle the 180 turn stuff on a moto track though.

I can see people running like 4 at ounce front left and right, rear left and right. Then do some video editing of all four.

To answer some of the questions here, from what ive read Lily can only go at 40km/h max, and does not see obstacles. It comes out next year for $999 but if you pre order now at there web site you can lock one in for $499. Airdog and other brands have simi;lar items

40 of them heading to the first turn would be better than watching the bikes.

You would have to ride at a wide open space track, wouldn't work for most riders, but this is an awesome idea. Someone is going to make a lot of money.
