It was super hot at the flyaways too bro and the 3rd worlders were going all out as RV was there, not so much in Spain. I'm pretty sure they are waiting on RV'S return before clicking it up a gear again

I think the track was particularly technical and the camera just doesn't capture the off-cambers, slick turns, ruts, square edged bumps etc. The GP tracks in general are slower but there is also something about the way they film it that doesn't show the speed those guys are going.

This is true. A year or so ago while watching MX2 on tv my GF said, " it looks like they're going slow". She only has a passing interest in MX and will glance up from time to time from whatever she's doing whether I'm watching the Nationals or whatever. I explained the difference to her and that they're really not going slow but there is that perception from the telecast.

Camera doesn't do the track justice.....slippery, nasty tight and off camber, why would anyone other than the leader want to slow down?

Do you need to use the 3rd world term again because every one ignored it in your first post?

I know from reliable sources that the GP top10 agreed on going 2 sec a lap slower because the guy in 4th is injured. Desalle couldn't pass Nagl in the first moto because otherwise it wouldve been against the rules

I dont think the GP guys turned it down.. It just when RV was racing, he was so damn slow it made them look even faster.. Now when RV is gone every body else is fast, and that is what makes them look even ( slower)
