Who is Ricky Renner?

He appeared at a local race here in germany for qualifying this afternoon. Unfortunately he did not make it for tomorrow (40 riders out of 65 I believe). Whatever, props for coming over here to compete. Always good to have american riders in the mix and I'd really love to see that more often in the future. Go Ricky Renner!

Wow. He won the edge of summer MX last year over Chisholm, Wey, Albertson, Decotis and other well known names. Seems to be one of the faster guys...

I believe the member here is a third brother. It's hard to believe Ricky Renner didn't qualify. He won the +25 class at Loretta's this past year. He was also the dude that turned around mid race to block any other people from running over Mike Alessi after that awful crash he had at red bud when he was ran over so many times. RR is still fast as shit.

I think he was 6 seconds off of the leaders pace which wasn't enough obviously. Track was soft soil/Sand but not that deep. Maybe just a bad day

He is from Florida I wouldn't think sand would be to big of an issue and wasn't that race you mentioned last summer at that Baja place in Michigan? If so that was a very sand track according to people here. I don't know

Robby Renner is the "3rd" brother and a member on here. And they are all great people! Momma Renner works the races at Gatorback and she is awesome!

Hope Ricky can make the next one!

ricky renner has won several loretta titles and was a decent pro who also raced a lot of german supercross for sturm racing and MoTec yamaha and other teams he has won many races over there in supercross in holland finland germany italy and more

Ricky didn't qualify at the German race due to a flat In qualifying. he also was a little uncertain how it worked for qualifying as it appears to be a little different than over here. Expect to see him up there no doubt. He said he got taken out in the first turn of the LCQ (I guess the first turn was half way down a straightaway and one guy forgot to turn). He just needed to figure out the qualifying and he will be fine. Also hasn't had a bike to ride in 3 weeks back here. And the last bike he has ridden before going over was a KTM. Very little time on the Yamaha.

thanks for the info. a lot of people who came only on raceday were bummed not to see him because the competition was pretty good that day and the racing only could 've been better with him at the gate. keep up! good luck.

Ricky was the last person to qualify on a 125 in in the "250" class in a MX pro national. RedBud was the place and it was cool of him to make the drive, race and hang out! Really down to earth dude. Thanks again for the great memories, I will be following.
