Since I am swedish I hope Filip Bengtsson and Anton Lundgren can score points at all despite being back in Europe with more and better competitors. Bengtsson will also do a lot better in one weeks time.

Filip use to tear up the sand at Finspan in his younger days, he does like the sand.

Cairoli because riders who haven't consistently beaten him like this are gaining more and more confidence with each race, and he hasn't won an overall yet. I expect them both to come out firing and push hard for the overall. Whether they get it or not, who knows?

You'd know more than me. You've followed the GPs more closely for a longer period. I personally don't remember Cairoli going this many races without a win.

Yeah it's a long series, but before you know it, you can be down over a race halfway through the year. Then you go 1-1 and your competitor goes 2-2 and you only gain 6 points. Then you go 1-2 and they go 2-1, which is a wash. Then you go 3-4 and they go 2-2, and they gain a little more on you. Then it comes to a track you're great but have some trouble on the start and go 1-7. Then it goes to a track they're good at and they gain a few more points on you. Now all of a sudden you're still down over a race with only a few rounds to go. There comes a point when you need to grab some wins. I think that time is now for Cairoli. Desalle, while a great rider, has never started this strong and consistent before (to my knowledge). Nagl has never ridden this well from what I've seen of him. I guess all the Villopoto/Cairoli talk lit a fire under their asses.

I do still believe that Villopoto and especially Cairoli will step it up to a different championship level like they've always done throughout their careers. Time will tell.

Holy shit the EMX250 class is packed with talent.
Just Group A: Graulus, Desprey, Sterry, Kouwenberg, Pootjes, Herbreteau, Nijenhuis, Sileika, Clarke
And we're still missing group B with Hsu, Kjer Olsen, Vaessen, Östlund etc

pretty sure I'm missing some good riders here but I couldn't tell a favourit. All of those could end up being in the title fight

super exciting class a lot of young fast riders that will move into the world championships in the coming years

18 goes straight to moto. Last chance race they take another four and 5th and 6th is reserve riders.

Coldenhoff won a moto here last year, beating Herlings... Glenn started the season with an injury but he'll get there. Don't forget he even beat Nagl last week in a German championship race. And last two seasons he was faster then guys like... Febvre. With good starts he'll be able to run upfront.
