A couple of guys I know bought them, and pulled them off to put a trials tire back on because they were not as expected.
I ran one no problem on my 250 2T. I can't speak for your buddies but, I had no issues with the loose stuff or the rocks at 8 psi with a heavy duty tube. I was actually stoked at how well it went up the loose hills with no run in and the rock sections at Last Dog Standing. My opinion was that it may not be as good as a trials tire in pure rocks or a moto tire in pure dirt but it was a better compromise than running one or the other.

I resisted for a long time, but there really is something to running these trials tires. I run one during the dry months. They're great.

Yes I am sold on the Pirelli MT 43 as well for my 520 grips really well and the tall side well provides extra cushion

I will never put a rear knobby on that bike again.

What I'm not sure about is the little 250 I got last year the bike almost need some wheelspin here and there to get going in the RPMs I don't think the Pirelli would really work as it's too big and these tires stick and wheelspin is minimal.

Not sure if they make one for the small bores.

Yeah you pretty much got it, since it only comes in a 4.00-18 with that tire you need power to lug the motor cause its pure traction. I have it on my XR400 and its perfect but anything smaller may be to much grip...if that such a thing.

But these tall soft tires do.



These Bridgestones seem to be a good compromise of knobby and trials tire.

Wonder how they would work on my 250XCF-W?
