After the track whooped out from left track marker to right the riders in front of him took the inside almost always. And they looked so slow doing it.

Was that a "built the week before" track or a established one.?

I've noticed it throughout his career as well. Maybe I'm wrong, but he seemed to be losing time in a few of those corners because of it. I'm just stating my idiotic opinion.

Nagl, Van Horbeek and AC were squaring off too at times I noticed,looking for smoother lines no doubt as it got pretty nasty,the ebb and flow of some guys laptimes may suggest armpump,AC said it affected him in the heat and his times dropped 1-2 seconds for a good few laps,Desalle looked to take a breather too towards the end of the last Moto,then put in a real fast one

Just some observations i hope they make some sense Smile

Good call. One year at Unadilla when RV Ramsey Grant and maybe Alessi were involved in this epic dog fight in the 250 class. RV was never shutting off riding much wider lines in the process.

You did notice that Nagl was running wide and made his passes on the outside then in the sharp left turn he was using a strange squaring off move, looked like he was always losing time in the deep stuff at the bottom but once he hooked up he made up the time, RV wasn't the only one using different lines.

A good bit of the time he was within 6 inches of going off the track. Reminded me of some of the single-track we have up here in the mountains.. Manastash, taneum, etc.

Is he searching for a smooth line?
