He's had his chance(s) and lost it. Since then, not much has changed about his results. I would be surprised if he got another shot.

Yes, he's had a shot with Factory Connection and got hurt a lot. Should that exclude him from future consideration?

Look at results. He is beating many guys that have much more support every week.

I feel that those results should get him some consideration...

In one of his post race interviews (I think?) Jimmy acknowledged that fitness has always been his achilles heel.. Sounded like he's really put a lot more emphasis on the discipline it takes if he wants to be a serious competitor.

I'm interested to watch his results in the Nationals. If he can stay in the groove he's in lately, I think the kid still has a long career ahead of him. He's got a large fan base too, which sponsors tend to dig

He had a shot with FC and also a real nice ride over in Europe. In both cases he showed his lack of commitment to fitness. He did get injured but unfortunately, that's part of the decision making process. He's capable of getting a great result but he's not shown he's capable of getting that result consistently. If he turns all of that around then maybe he gets another shot but up to this point, I don't think he does based on his body of work.

Thats good news. Gary will step up his speed now he just needs to bust his ass on his conditioning. He has always been a great rider. I hope he puts in the work.

hes riding great right now and less pressure at TLD. it could work and TLD runs a top notch ship and likes to gamble. Its worth the gamble. Low cost big bonus. Jimmy D can focus on just riding

Jimmy didn't have much but bad luck when he was at Geico but showed some speed... he got a couple 4ths before jacking himself right?

The PC deal in europe shouldn't count for shit. It's not like that's a regular deal.

He could definitely do well with a shot at TLD or Geico injury free... Lemoine too.

Plus he gave us Lieutenant Dan. Maybe the funniest podcast moment ever. And his chick is cool enough to state it was her. They've got it made!

I personally don't think the kid wants a ride. I think the kid wants to try and do it all on his own. Have fun, ride with his bros and his lady, and enjoy his life. This year he has been doing significantly better than he was on any factory team he was ever on. There is way less pressure on himself to do good, and he's having a good time with his friends. Plus if you hear him talk he hates the AMA. He wants more rider payout for everyone and he disagrees with a lot of what AMA has to say about the sport.. So if he pulls of a podium on a privateer team it'll be like a big F U to the sport to show a David Vs Goliath story can and will happen!! And I just want to see him do good cause he's from New England! Good luck Jimmy!!
