Hey -- Just wondering if anyone has tried to install a set of late-model RMZ250 forks to an 06 RM250 two stroke. What was involved? Do they fit in the RM clamps? RMZ clamps won't work due to the steering stop difference. Set up differences? Spring rate, etc?

The forks will fit but the newer rmz has a bigger front axel so the rm250 wheel wont fit Smile Don´t know about the springrate but you can use springs from the rm250 in the rmz250 fork Smile

I have RMZ450 forks on my RM250. You will need the axle, spacers and front wheel. And they do fit the RM clamps.

The 2013/2014 RMZ250 forks don't fit. They fit in the top clamp, but not the bottom. 2010 to 2012 might but they're not a lot better than the RM forks.

2013/2014 Rear shock bolts right on to an 04+ RM, no probs at all.

I should have clarified. I have 2007 forks on mine.
