Knee? Everything so far mentioned ankle ligamaent problems.

I wouldn't be shocked at either one. That practice crash at Atlanta 1 was brutal. The follow-up crash in the race wasn't much better.

I was thinking the same thing. Even though, his chances for the title are really slim at the moment. Better heal up and try to defend his national title (but I have a feeling RCH would rather want more publicity in Supercross than Nationals)

Steve, do you know if that spurred any dialogue about trackside barriers, etc? The reason I bring it up is because of all the talk about barriers that is going on in nascar right now. I'm not saying it should/shouldn't, just wondering if that may have got some people talking about it?

Also, we were sitting down close to the podium at dallas this year and it just seemed sketchy at how close the corner of the podium was to the turn at then end of that really fast straightaway. Just looked like something could get pretty nasty if a guy's back wheel swapped coming in the turn and highsided into the podium. Anyhoo, just thinking out loud (or out "text?") haha

Yea, he posted a picture on IG earlier this week of his ankle all taped up. Could be both, the way he hit that wall its a wonder his leg didn't snap.

No kidding. Must have been wearing some incredible knee braces. My leg would have been split like Anderson Silva's. I hate that he is injured. It would be nice to see a rough battle to the line every week especially now that Dungey appears to be flying.

He took a good hit in the case out too. He should be able to take a few off and come back strong.

German magazins are reporting he has a torn ligament. No mention of a break from racing, so I guess he will be at the gate at Daytona.
