F-150 fake engine noise

I was hot dogging a 2013 Audi s4 around town a few weeks ago. I thought it sounded so loud and cool, turns out it was from the speakers and I looked like a homo

OEMs have also used the sound system to cancel unwanted noises. Off topic (sorta) active motor (engine) mounts are also incorporated to reduce vibrations.
