Gonna need a link and some video proof. 180 feet is a long way for me to believe it without seeing it.

I'd like to see a tape measure showing 180 ft because I'm skeptical. Could be just a horrible angle to view it.

irts hard to say just looking at it but id say 130+ but nthey don't show where he takes off and how far down he lands ether which could swallow up another 20 feet on each end pretty easily

probably measured from bottom of take off jump to the very end of the landing. LOL Honestly it looks about 120ft to but I wasn't there. But like the other gentleman said tape measure would be nice.

Is there really any point in arguing about it... the semantics of a few feet once you get that big?

You can't see the exact take off or landing, but the point really is it's fucking huge on an 85.

Am I the only one that thinks it is completely ridiculous to let a child huck something like that jump?

Hell, better them than someone old. Hell the kid would break a femur and be back in three months. The old dude may never ride again if he even lived. Both these scenarios are if they wreck. But seriously I don't know about kids doing that. I wouldn't want mine doing it.

One hell of a booter for a supermini.

180ft is a bit on the generous side though...

This was 92' takeoff to landing, no way that is another 70 feet...

You mean another 88 ft? No offense but that doesn't look like 92' lip to lip

have to agree we have a 100 foot table at our track and there are 2-3 kids on 85's hitting that and it looks about the same size as the one in the video

It was the longest jump in d6 for a long time, ask John Knowles from Scott goggles. He built it and was the first to hit it. On a 125/250f it was 4th gear on the throttle, all it had.

I'm not calling you out. Looks are often deceiving and there's only one way to find out! I have seen mâché cases where guys hitting a jump are calling it 25%-50% bigger than it is in reality. If you use the bike and 2 men as a comparison those peaks do not appear to be 46 ft apart from 1-2 and 2-3. But like I said your eyes can play tricks on you!

180'?? Come on now, maybe bottom to bottom.

That is 100'-120' at the MAX.

What Motohead doesn't exaggerate the jump size when telling his buddies that weren't there? It's kind of like the wind chill factor. The jump is 100' but with the tell your buddies that weren't there factor it felt like 180' Smile
