You are the one that is supposed to start the initial investment.

Sounds like they're using sales to generate capital to make the first run. It's a poor and backwards business model. Their customers are bearing the cost of their design on an unproven product. They should have at least had prototypes done, and a small quantity available prior to coming to market.

At the very least, it should be transparent that this is what's going on at the time of ordering. It doesn't look like they're doing that. They're collecting orders and holding them until the 25 glove minimum is met.

For not having the investment in a small quantity of inventory (showing you're willing to take some risk on your own product) and the lack of transparency...I will not be a customer.

Good luck,
Shane
Yea if i had known this i would not have purchased, just knowing not 1 glove has been produced to see how it is, usually companys test these gloves and send them out for testers...

You need to start sending them out to the people that bought them so they can review them and get more people to buy. Right now people are buying a product that hasnt even been produced, why buy them over a 100% glove???

I thought when i made the purchase i was gonna be able to have one of the first reviews done. Guess not.

I will wait, but it needs to be shown on the website. How many pairs have been sold?

I am very sorry about the inconvenience that this has caused! Sad It will deffinately be shown on the website by tommorow! All the people that ordered the gloves were refunded so it is at zero right now, but there are about 5 people that are willing to wait. So that leads us to about 20 more orders and they are shipped! There will be something special included in the package with the gloves for those who ordered without knowing that we need to reach 25 orders. About the shipping charges you need to contact us through the websites contact page. I will try to add some kind of order counter to the website so that you can see how many pairs have been ordered. To the people that have been refunded but want to wait for the gloves you can transfer the refunded amount of money that you recieved back PM me. Thank you for understanding and again I am really sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused! Nauris

These gloves, being direct marketed to an mx forum , by an unknown poster and unknown company..How many runs of 25 is he going to make? Where is his R&d? Is there any chance these will be better than a troy lee or fox glove? If you need gloves, go to your local dealer and buy from him. Support the guys that support the sport.

I'm still surprised that they need to get 25 orders before they get the gloves made. That's a tiny order. If you figure they're selling at $20 per pair, 25 gloves is only $500 of retail dollar inventory. Since these are direct and there's no distributor, I'm guessing they should be paying in the area is $10 per pair (guessing since I work in a shop, I have a fair understanding of cost vs retail dollars)...maybe $12 per pair since its a tiny run. That means they'd only be sitting on $300 of inventory if they made the order and had them for immediate shipment. Any company that can't sit on $300 worth of inventory is lacking sound business practices and carrying the cost of development to the consumer immediately. Most of us here have more than $300 worth of parts (inventory) floating around our garage. For a business to not do that...well, it leaves the impression they aren't invested in their success.

That being said...gloves are a tough market right now. Seems that everyone is making them. And has them available to order.

Ok it seems that the whole glove making thing won't work out very good now so we will leave that for another time.

What do you mean by that? Like we should put double layer on the fingertips of the gloves?

Make sure you refund every costumer, and for next time it would be a good idea to discuss a good business plan and have some gloves already made to make sure it turns out well.

What was your reason to call it quits with the glove?

Well I am not completely shutting the glove thing down, but leaving it for later and making some time to invest, research and design. As most of you and I can agree that I need to get some prototypes done, some. gloves finished and ready to ship out and really think into the future so the gloves can be truly revolutionary if it is possible Smile So the gloves will be made and ready to ship out to customers sometime! All people that have interest in this will be able to subscribe for an email newsletter at our website. Also the website will be rebuilt.
