Racism still strong

So today when I was having lunch I over heard a convo with two ladys, one said I will let my daughter date one and i would even have dinner with one but I will never vote for one. the other says I will never let my kids date one and most definatly wont vote for one, they are not smart enough.

So much for us all getting along.

phew........ thanks spinner, i was really loosing sleep over this one.

one time (not at band camp!) someone i respected said something to me that stuck for some reason. that quote was "percpetion is reality" and i guess i just percieved due to watching/reading the main stream media that only white folks are racist.

We have that shit over here as well. They are all afraid. The term uneducated doesn't necessarily mean a degree in something. I see it more of as an approach to things and life, maybe needs some kind of knowledge as well? I have met retarded educated people, and I have met intelligent nondedicated people (duh). But it's a fact, the more you educate yourself, the more knowledge, less hate, the less crime, drugs and you also live longer etc looking at a population. That's a scientific fact! But there are always exceptions to that rule. A friend of mine with less points in University than me has red so much books it's crazy. He can quote Dostojevskij and Kafta if necessary. I heard him speak to a well know professor in psychiatry that I admire. It took them like five seconds to connect while I stood beside them a felt like a retard. I hate Dostojevkij (because I fear him).

So by reading books, anyone can be educated...
