Just racing. I reckon Bowers was going in for a rough pass on Webb, probably trying to get his own back for last week, but Webb turned sharper than he anticipated and it turned from a little rub to a big ol' bang. I doubt he intended to hit Webb that hard hence the headshake and the 'wtf you doing turning down on me?'

What I thought the best thing was is that when Webb came by him he kept it nice and clean, got the job done without any payback. If only there was a go pro of him making all those passes, that would be good to see!

Read below. Spagina is absolutely correct. When you're trailing that far, you don't have the line. Bowers anticipated wrong and came in too hot trying to make a pass. Bowers would have owned the line if he had a wheel in on Cooper, but he didn't. It wasn't intentional, just bad judgement. Cooper had no way of knowing where Bowers was heading.

I heard Fox Sports are worried about people turning off during 250s and not watching so they gave Bowers and Webb a wad of cash each and told them to go have fun.

They are both great for spectators. Love them or hate them, they are making me want to watch every race. I can't wait to see what Webb means by 'cleaning him out' at Vegas...

I can understand why Webb is mad. But seriously, he knows damn well he wouldn't take all that smack to Bowers face unless he wants it re-arranged. He already comes off as a cocky prick, now he just sounds like a "bitch" cocky prick talking all that smack about Bowers, but seriously doubt he has the balls to do so to Bowers face.

So which one are you. Everyone on this forum that types trash about riders are way worse. At least these guys are out there banging and may react negatively in a heated situation. All of them talk trash at times for the most part. It is funny to me how some of the same people on here will talk trash about one rider being a wimp because they avoid confrontation, then turn around and bash another rider because they tend to be confrontational. We all have a right to voice our opinions, but to come on here and call people little punks or much worse is being a coward. Tell it like you see it without all the bashing. It ain't cute. It doesn't make anyone on here tough to sit at their desk top and call riders names. All that is trash and I don't mean trash talking.

What xactly did I take out of context. The only thing I tried to point out is how people come on here and make statements like these about people they don't know. Just because their job is very visible doesn't give us the right to come on here and call the "little punks", "cocky prick", etc.

As for gaining a few more years of education, at 55 I may not have too many more years to do that. I do know that I have participated in one sport or another since the age of 6 and know how heated things can get at times. We've all made these type of mistakes before and normally after we cool down, we regret those times.

I am not only calling you out. I feel that way about everyone that comes on here and bashes the crap out of and slanders the racers. These guys are making a living soing this. When situations like we're talking about occur and a mic gets shoved in their face minutes afterwards, the're inclined to say things that shouldn't be said. Being name called by us arm chair quarterbacks will never improve that situation.

Hey, that is a great idea. I'll call him after work. The only problem though, I'm not trying to protect the riders from the AMA/FIM or even from each other. They have the right to act and say whatever they want to their peers imo. If they overreact, then they are held accountable by the governing bodies and their sponsors etc.

My belief about freedom of speech didn't intend for us to come on here and slander the riders. That is all I'm saying. Now if this forum see's nothing wrong with it, then I'm out of line. I still feel we can share an opinion without all the name calling directed at the riders. We're only fans and nothing more.

I'd like to know why Bowers let Webb basically walk by him later in the race? Seems like the guy with the "I'm here to win that championship at all costs" mentality would at least be able to run with the current points leader for a couple turns before letting him by.
