In the last 5 years i think Weston has been the most improved rider. I remember him back in 2010 struggling to make mains aboard his YZ450f. Most people would give up but he kept it at.
Now some could argue the track wasn't challenging so fastest laps wouldn't mean much but this is pretty impressive considering the names around him.

His Laptime was the 5th fastest and very close to being 4th. If someone told me in 2010 that Weston would be achieving top 5 lap times and top 10 finishes. I would have probably told them their crazy.

We can work with speed.
And I thought in the few glimpes of him that I saw in the heat race that he looked mucho aggressive on the bike. Throwing it around and climbing all over it.

He's one of those guy's that fights to the end and I really like that, emotions run high when you try as hard as Weston does, He has really been impressive.
See that scrub he pulled chasing down someone on the weekend?
A few years ago he was boner airs and casing every jump in a rhythm section, now he legitimately looks good! Even away from his beloved Suzukis!
Pit Row
Maybe it was a quick decision but it wasn't a short sighted decision.
I've said several times, that I think Reed will go after someone big in the next silly season.
Dungey! i dont even like dungey. . .stewart? team twotwo seVen JSE.. meh, maybe not
As for WP, he's definitely the 'good privateer story'. The track may have been simple, but I think his fast lap time on a simple track means even more. His corner speed is good and he looks good through the whoops. That's where passes are made and he looks strong there!
It's a bit early for silly season talk I know but Reed's immediate situation can't be what he wants long term.
And Kenny's lap is almost .5 secs faster than anyone else's.
