Has anyone tried these yet or know anyone that has that can provide some feedback?

I know they were just released and I have watched all the product intro videos and they look interesting, but, I am looking for a little more info before i purchase or go with the Asterisk Cells.

ML,

I dont currently these will be my first set of "real" knee braces... at 41 I dont feel like going through knee surgery if I can help it!

I would wait a couple of months for the new Mobius knee braces to be released. RV has been wearing them for a couple of years now, and a few more of the top guys will have them soon too. www.mobiusbraces.com

I've been testing the Leatt knee braces for a bit now, and my main problem is how different they feel. If you're used to a thick knee brace such as the Asterisk, it would be very hard to adapt to the Leatt, because of the lack of an inside hinge is quite unusual. However, there are some benefits with the thinner feel and the customization of the brace to improve the fit.

Since you haven't adapted to a knee brace yet, I'd recommend finding a place to try them both on if possible.

my buddy is a sales rep for them and has a pair at his place, i put them on and they feel pretty funky. the inside of your knee can literally touch the bike, no framing between the inside of your knee and the bike. apparently its for feel but i don't know about it.

i love my Asterisks

having not severely injured my knees before my goal is to prevent initial injury not provide post op support.

Now that I have been riding with them for a couple months I don't even realize I have them on although they were strange feeling at first. I have not worn standard braces before so I cannot compare the two styles, however, I can say that you can grip the bike with the same feel as with just wearing pads.

I purchased through BTO and used the "pulpmx" coupon code and I think they were 545 shipped.... something like that.
