There is no way it can't affect YOUR production...no way. Because there is definately something more productive you could be doing if you'd log off the internet. You spend all day on here...why not just take a vacation (and leave the lap top home)? Go excercise? Spend Time with your family (leave the lap top turned off)?
Seriously, I had an employee that spent a tone of time on the internet all day... I had a come to Jesus meeting with him and told him to work while he's at work...he came back with "It's not hurting my production"...and I said to give it a try...he tried it, and became far more effective and productive.

Bottom line. It doesn't matter how your business is set up, or what you do...if you spend all day on Vital you aren't doing your job. If you aren't doing your job, you are hurting your production, if you are hurting your production you aren't making as much money as you could.
So if you didn't sit on Vital all day your company might actually net $250K.
And why can you call people "liars" all the time, but you have a problem when people call you one?
That said, I do wish I could sit on Vital all day and my company ran good without me at the helm, micromanaging every aspect and still get paid. Congrats Flarider
I said it doesn't matter what you job is, if you are making 50 post/day on Vital (and spending hours and hours reading every thread) you aren't doing it. And if you aren't doing it then you are hurting your production.
Are you telling me that there is nothing more productive you could be doing with the time you spend on Vital? NOTHING more productive, nothing?
If he wished his company made more money, he should get off Vital and get to work.
