He got landed on during on the first lap of the Supermini 2nd moto at the MEC and did not line up for the restart.

Hopefully no news is good news.

Anybody got an update?

He had a gnarly broken femur I believe last year, tough luck for that kid. Matt Crown Racing has been a staple here in Michigan since I was starting out in 80C, and it's great to see a kid like Joey progress

I was announcing at Freestone during timed practice when he crashed in the 12 pack and broke his femur at the end of practice. He had some of the best lap times. Freestone was his first big race this year on the Kawasaki. Was glad to see him recover quickly and back to speed at the MEC. Thanks for the updates.
