is it just me? or is everyone else sick and tired of seeing j-law this and j-law that EVERYWHERE !
on the net , in magazines etc etc etc i mean c'mon people - the guy acts like a complete dick and does NOT deserve all the attention. the sooner he fades of into has-been land the better.
for comparison sake , you have a guy like ryan dungey - very well spoken and presented , PROFESSIONAL, respectful of the sport and those who paved the way before him, sponsers wet dream with the way he conducts himself and represents the product or company WHO PAYS HIS WAGES !
on the other side - jlaw. . . .thinks it is so cool to act like a jerk and disrespect EVERYONE. ( including himself , maybe he will realise this in years to come after he has blown all his chances ) bad BAD representation for his PAYING sponsers ( any left? ) and just talks shit - about everything and everyone. has NO idea about how lucky he is or the talent he is pissing away.
i am so f*%king sick of reading about this waste of space or seeing his face in magazines . ( and NO WAY will i ever buy a product from a company that supports him )
all this shit about him being a 'badboy' . . .give me a break, yeah real tough guy oooooooooooo so scary - what a joke. he should form a team with josh hansen and they could name it 'dumb and dumber racing' talk about wasted talent.
just seems so unfair that dicks like these two get so much press and guys that are ACTUALLY having a red hot crack at trying to do it RIGHT go without anywhere near the support. just blackball the dickheads and be done with it. move on for the better.

remember when this sport had so called 'badboys' that still were rolemodels ? bob hannah - ricky johnson - damon bradshaw etc
yeah kinda sad that j-law ( what a dumbass nickname by the way - what is he snoop doggs retarded white homeboy?) may have his name linked to actual legends of the sport.

phew ! got that off my chest , now im never gonna waste my breath on him again.......
i feel SO much better ........and in the great words of frank costanza - serenity now....
You're wrong, when JL got in the scuffel at Hangtown last year with RV and was DQ'd from the National that day, DC was the first person there defending JL and got him reinstated, I was there and personally saw this.

Where in the world would you ever get the idea that JLaw is the favorite for any championship? Most serious pundits of this sport do not see him on the podium unless several other riders crash out I would make a list of the serious contenders but i will let RacerX and the like do that for you.

I mean, come on try to be serious..we're talking about a brain dead circus boy here.
Considering he's the defending champ, beat Dungey last year and has something to prove i'd put money on him.

Why would anybody in their right mind not think the guy running the #1 wouldn't be a contender is beyond me.

That's nice, someone made him a nice plate with the number of brain cells he has on it and he's buddies are confirming it ....1 !!Laughing

Have to say though my girlfriend knows nothing about MX but after taking her to watch a few and hearing the hilarious shite he comes out with her favourite rider is "Crooked Mouth" - her words not mine.

hell if you wana put jlaw on the unemployment line you might as well let half the nfl and the nba join him. them fools are always in trouble for crap more serious than what jlaw does. give it a a rest dude. the reality is if your on top of your sport your gonna have a job.
you watch when michael vick gets out of jail the beginning of next year he will get a job somewhere in the nfl. it aint right but its just the way it is.

Damn, some of you bag on Jlaw like it affects you personally if he rides or not.
Give it a rest already, how many times does this same topic come up in a week? Everytime it comes up, it's from a hater and saying how they wish he's just go away. Well, he might if you didn't keep bringing his name up.
Fact is people like to talk about him, good or bad, everyone has an opinion on him.
Saying Dungy is "class" while saying Jlaw is a "moron" is just asking for the shit talking to start all oer again. Nothing new has been said in this thread. I like to talk some smack just like the next guy, but seriously this topic is burned out. Give it a rest till something new comes out.
I'm guessing most don't know either guy personally, nor do I, I just like Jlaw better than the "model robot" that is Dungy.
Is Jlaw a moron? Maybe. Does he have a chemical embalance? Again, Maybe. Easy to throw stones when you just go off of what you read on the internet.

Just look at the pictue a few posts up. One of the most prized possessions in MX/SX. A number one plate!!
And just think he did it without training, partying, drinking, smoking, flipping cars, dwi's, and all the other fun stuff.
And on top of that he did it one of them yamahas.
Hell..how can you not like the guy?? Smile

No doubt J-Law is highly talented. I mean the comeback he made last year in the sx season was very impressive and i think the kid has the ability to really become something in the sport but in order to do that he is going to have to get his act together. I mean if you look at his current position as a sx champion compared to Dungeys runner up status, i think we would all agree that Dungey is doing a little better right now in sport. A defending supercross champion shouldnt have to be searching for sponsors, they should be knocking on his door. As far as the 09 season, i dont think you can count J-Law out. The kid is fast. There's no denying that. That being said, i also dont believe that he's going to dominate the season or anything to that extent. Should be an exciting season to watch. My personal opinion, i like that Jason is being himself and not being your typical "model" pro, but theres a fine line between being unique and being just plain stupid. I would like to see him get his act together and really be beneficial to the sport. I like the thought behind his style, i just dont agree with alot of his decisions. If he can pull it together and train like he should and take his career more seriously, we would have one hell of a racer on our hands.

J-Law rules. Despite what you think of the guy, he brings attention to the sport, just like what the tattoo guys in fmx do?

I don't agree with what he does, and I think has issues suited for therapy, but as it looks now, American mx is dying, so I guess the attention actually benefits the sport. Maybe a totally cliché, but in advertising I hear all commercial is good commercial.

What we want and need is 14 years old kids digging our sport, maybe people like Andrew Short with that perfect polished appearance is pointless?

Joe McEnroe made tennis more interesting. Who did you honestly look up to when you where young.

We in Europe will take him with open arms. He's talented, and has charisma. Just what the sport needs.

Of course I could be wrong.

i hope you realize its people like you keeping his name everywhere...its all the people bitching about how much they hate him. you dont see any threads that say jlaw is the best rider or he is a class act or hes gonna win the next supercross championship. so why dont u take a seat, shut the fu*k up and think about something else. if it werent for people hating on him you wouldnt hear much about him but because of you and a lot of other people he is the most popular person on every motocross message board
