That sounds like a plan.

Caveats:

Enough FC350s imported to facilitate Homologation.

Team has enough nerve to let the East/West on the big bike if he's leading his 250 series.

I could see that (him on the 350); it'd be a good way to get the bike exposure and he's a strong enough rider IMO that he could put some solid results on it during the SX/MX season.

He could Podium in both classes.

This question might fall into the "dumb category", but do you think they'd move him to the 350 outdoors instead of racing in the 250 class?

If you race the outdoors in the big-class, you really need a 450...according to most folks, that is.

I think Martin could pull it off.

Davalos: Not old like me, but think he's in his mid 20's. He's been at it on the 250's for awhile, but he's been able to stay put in the class. Do think it's time for him to move to the big bike class. Think he'd probably do better there.

It'll be interesting to see if KTM and Husky both offer the 350 down the road

...... don't forget they can use their one time "works exemption" rule this season Cool

brings a Factory Ride- to another another level for both Husky & KTM Whistling

But I like the White & Blue combo better

Didn't people learn their lesson from KTM 's 350 in SX a couple of years ago?

Husky ain't worried about the "1 time" exemption...

Yet.

As for 350s not being any good in SX? I'll agree with Ivan & I'll disagree w/ you.

He is riding 250 West, and 450 East, or the other way around, but he'll be 250 class again.

I'll go with Andrew Short saying he had to really rail the corners and ride the track differently than the other guys on 450's and that was a major negative, as well as Mitch Payyon saying nobody is asking for 100 less CC's.

We will see next year how it plays out, but I don't see the point of it.

Here is a serious question.......

Can you run a big-bore 350? Let's say maybe a 400? That wouldn't be so bad, would it? Might even be kick-ass if I do say so myself.....

Nope.

Needs to be a production based bike that is homogolated.

So it for sure has to remain the stock bore? Even if it's still under the cc limit? I liken it to running a 144 Yz in the 250 class. Not the stock bore.... But still way under the limit.

Yes. Bore can be increased, stroke cannot. The original cylinder must still be used. The kicker, any kit or modification done to increase the displacement must be approved for use by the AMA.

I think the KTM factory can get enough power out of the 350, without increasing displacement.
