Why did my comment get clipped? It's common knowledge there was tension with Suzuki because Tony took apart the forks. What did I say wrong!?!

Dude c'com, you started a thread titled "mathes is great for the sport". No matter what you post, from here on out you're on thin ice.

Even though he probably won't win he has clearly been the fastest rider just has had some bad breaks. I think he's got to be confident coming into 2015 and should try his luck in the states.
I don't 100% agree with that. There have been races where yes he has been clearly faster. But there have been races Colt has been faster or close. Who is to say that these races lately where Colt has been quite close, that he isn't just managing the championship?? Colt has crashed his way out of the last 2 or 3 seasons. I think you are seeing Colt trying to ride as fast as he has to this year.

Yes Alessi has had raw speed 2nd to none (in Canada) most to time. But you have to give Colt credit for turning things around this year and riding a championship year.

I watched Alessi close in Moncton last weekend. In my opinion (imo for all the internet toughies) this is the closest we have to a legit AMA MX track. Alessi rode great not using the Klattapult (spelling) jump and had things handled. I also think he had more speed if needed. I kept waiting for Colt to do the jump as i think it was worth some time (Alessi wasnt doing it either) but he didnt. However Hill was doing it each lap to the delight of the fans Smile

Shout out to Kaven Benoit who won the first 250 moto on a 250SX.

A pile of 2 strokes in the 250 class. I would say anyone who didnt have factory support of some kind.

If he was ever going to win a title it would have been in 2009 on Suzuki. They burned that bridge with Roger D and I think every factory team took note of that. It's a shame, Mike is good, really good. He should race the GPs, in my opinion.

For the alessis? They can claim he's won a professional title, even if it was against 10 pros and 20 b class riders.
Lets see you try to qualify and then get a top 20....I bet you don't!!!! Wink
