What supporting mods do you think are needed for this kit on a 2010 250f My bikes only got around 30hours. And oil and all filters changed every 4 hours.

It should be a direct bolt on, but you may want to consider a better exhaust pipe.

Idk man.... No offense but for you to build your own exhaust it wouldn't be worth it. Google your bike and year and find a transworld/RacerX/dirt rider test on your bike.... They'll usually recommend the best pipe/can combo

Those Athena kits are awesome. The only downfall is they make the bike run hot. I would think about a bigger water pump and impeller. Engine ice wouldn't hurt either

I had a 290 Athena kit on my 2005 and ran the stock pipe with no other mods. Word of caution: the timing chain adjuster hole was machined too small from Athena and had to be enlarged. Also the rings never seated properly because the cylinder bore was not perfectly round. The bore wore at 4 "square" points. The power was great but quality and craftsmanship was sub par. Not sure if they're better now because that was almost ten years ago. Also it burned oil after installing it.

I have an 04 with the Athena 290 kit (standard compression) and stage 2 HotCams...this runs on 93 pump gas. I also run a Boyesen Supercooler water pump, Engine Ice, and oversize radiators (cheapo eBay oversize rads). I race local harescrambles, and GNCC...and sometimes trail ride. No overheating problems here. Also no issues with the quality of the Athena kit
