ok, no more poo jokes (they will rip ya a new one though).

What do u recommend a diehard MX fan should do to see some cool stuff? Asked before, but it is getting close!
I'm 54 and have wanted to make this trip my whole life. Gotta see Glen Helen, love that track. (gonna go a little farther, never seen a desert either). Bought a new SLR for pretty pictures, although no one can touch the pro photog's

Any Saturday or Sunday races anywhere, or incredible dirt bike shops? I can sneak away from my wife and daughter for moto time.

Thanks

Glen Helen for sure. You have to go to Chaparral in San Bernardino. About 20 minutes from Glen Helen. Milestone MX is cool to go watch guys ripping around for awhile.

Check out Chaparral, it's CRAZY to see that much stuff under 1 roof. Buy a gear kit or something for remembrance. You'll over pay on price, but sit'll be cool to remember where that gear came from. Glen Helen is cool the first 10 minutes, but if you're not riding it, then it loses it's luster quickly.

Swing by pro circuit and window shop! Troy Lee has some AMAZING displays as well.

Go watch some local pros at milestone or other socal tracks.

Chaparral is cool to walk around (about the size of a Wal-Mart supercenter). Langston is out that way too and has some cool stuff on the walls.
TLD has a lot of helmets hanging in their store, although it's small, you can waste some time there.

I think Thursday is 'pro day' at Glen Helen.

You can go watch races in many places, Lancaster has an MX track closer than Glen Helen for you, it came up after LACR closed down.

However if you like to ride you can go to Jawbone Canyon and rent a dirtbike and ride for the day, I highly recommend it if you have not experienced deserty/canyon riding. I grew up riding at Jawbone and Bean canyons on the weekends I was not at the track, well worth the experience.

Thanks for all of help. Went golfing for the 1st time in a while today. Man, they would make awesome MX tracks.
Kinda like old school Unadilla cut shorter. MX isn't big up here, but I am going to the Canadian Nationals Sunday.

Can't believe Mike f'ing Alessi will be there battling with Colt. Cripes, I'll bet JSR wants to line up.
My $ is on Colt, world's fastest trail rider.

Appreciate this.
